An article from the Indiana (Indiana’s NewsCenter) said that Attorney General Greg Zoeller was in Fort Wayne Thursday to file a lawsuit on the people’s behalf. The suit claims Ohio-based Foreclosure Assistance USA has taken advantage of nearly 600 Indiana homeowners. The lawsuit says homeowners signed contracts believing the company would help prevent foreclosure. It was reported that they we’re asked to pay a $600-$1200 in fees upfront and never received the help they needed.
